The Bending Spoons Women in Computer Science Scholarship is a merit-based opportunity designed to support your studies and connect you with exceptional peers across Europe.

Networking event in Milan, Italy

- Two days of connecting with other scholarship winners and getting to know Bending Spoons
- All expenses paid
Who can apply?
You’re welcome to apply if you…
- Identify as a woman
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a university in the EU, the UK, Switzerland, or a Balkan country
And
- Are studying computer science or a closely related field (such as computer engineering, software engineering, artificial intelligence, informatics, or a comparable program)
How does the application process work?
The entire selection process takes place online and consists of three phases:

1.Application submission
Submit your CV and a short motivation statement.

2.Online assessments
Complete a series of logic-based, algorithmic, and behavioral challenges.

3.Final interview
Participate in an online interview. We may also request references from professors or supervisors.
If, after the interview, candidates are deemed equally strong, we may request additional information on financial need to reach a final decision.
Scholarship recipients will be announced in July 2026.

Why has Bending Spoons created this initiative?
Bending Spoons launched the Women in Computer Science Scholarship to promote greater participation and representation of women in computer science.
Since 2022, the initiative has connected the company with outstanding students from across Europe, supporting their academic journeys and ambitions. Some scholarship recipients have even gone on to join Bending Spoons later on.
What can I expect during the networking event?
The networking event is a two-day in-person experience in Milan, Italy, designed to bring scholarship recipients together and create meaningful connections.
You can expect a mix of networking moments, collaborative team activities, technical talks with Bending Spoons experts, and a city sightseeing tour. Travel and accommodation expenses will be fully covered by Bending Spoons.
